Why bus stops ?
Reykjavík City aims to keep the small scaled city centre a pleasant and safe place for everyone. In order to do so, the city offers special pick-up and drop-off places for your airport shuttle and day/night tour buses. The stops are located in and around the city centre and are easily accessible. You should find one in close proximity to your accommodation in the city centre.

In all tours that are operated with Reykjavík Sightseeing we offer you, in bus audio guide in ten languages, free Wi-fi, USB charger for every seat and professional guide as well as in bus entertainment in our tablet that comes with every seat. All our tours include admission on sights as stated in the tour description.
I’m a senior, can I book all of your tours?
Many of our excursions require short to medium long walks, if you have any medical problems, please consider to get your doctors advice before you book tours. Our guide will assist you with basic needs, making it sure that you will enjoy our tour. We recommend that you find a tour suitable for your needs. What kind of buses do you have?
Our fleet is built with new Mercedez Benz buses, all of them well equipped with modern technology such as in bus entertainment, on-board wireless internet, USB charger for every seat and more. Our Airport Direct service uses only new Ford buses, also well equipped with modern technology.
Do you accept all currency?
Yes we do, you can book online with your credit/debit card or pay with your currency at our tour desk.

Where do your tours depart from?
All our tours include pick up from your location in Reykjavík, but keep in mind that we will always depart from our Ticket & Departure Center on Skógarhlíð 10,105 Reykjavik. Our ticket & Departure center is located in a walking distance from most of the accommodations in Reykjavík downtown area, so don't hesitate to take a healthy walk to meet us on location.

How do I pay for my tour?
We offer many different options for payments. First of all, you can pay with your credit/debit card when booking is made online, you can also pay at any tour desk or your accommodations lobby or simply drop by at our Tour & Departure desk located on Skógarhlíð 10, 105 Reykjavik.
I need pick up for your tour, do you offer pick up?
All of our tours departing from Reykjavík have pick-up availability, pick up is available on selected tours operated in Reykjavík.
If I cancel my tour, can I get a refund?
Reservations can be cancelled 24 hours prior to departure without penalty. Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to departure will be charged full price.
Do you speak my language?
It's highly likely that we speak your language or at least a language you can relate to. In all tours that are operated by Reykjavík Sightseeing, we offer in bus audio guide in ten languages (English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Finnish)
Do I need my passport on my tour?
There is no need for you to bring your passport on your tour.
What luggage can I take with me?
Passengers heading to and from the Airport are allowed to store two bags per person, one weighing a maximum of 23 kg (50 lbs) and one hand luggage. Passengers on day tours are allowed to take one carry-on baggage per passenger. Reykjavik Sightseeing takes no liability for luggage, fragile valuables or perishable articles. All baggage must be claimed promptly upon arrival.
